Your Chairman's Report on the Scale Weekend 1

Well, what a weekend, very much dominated by the weather once again. Saturday was wet and windy but the car boot sale started extra early (about 8.30am) due to the wind and rain the numbers were down but still there were some bargains to be had and those that did turn out were rewarded with […]

Message from your Chairman: The crops around the field have been harvested and the stubble is well spaced and very damp so I believe we can allow turbines to fly. Regards Bob Ryan

Sad news on Malcolm Wood.

Sad news on Malcolm Wood. 3

Doug Galpin has contacted me today with the sad news of the passing of long-time member Malcolm Wood who served the club as secretary for a large proportion of the noughties. Malcolm was a Aeromodeller for most of his life, enjoyed powered flight and was a keen flyer of slope soarers. Malcolm sadly decided to […]

Don’t forget the Avicraft […]

Thus, the inner gate (or middle gate to some) should, outside of events, be closed at all times. On Sunday it was unfortunately found […]

Weed Killing – Fri 16th June

Weed Killing - Fri 16th June 10

Tomorrow, Friday 16th July there will be a contractor spraying weed killer very early in the morning. By 10:30 am it should all be dry and not a problem, but to be on the safe side it would be better that animals and children were not allowed until Saturday morning. BMFC Committee
