Alan Cooper has contacted with the following information.

Arnolds Lane is blocked, Church Road is open. The lane from first gate to the patch is passable.

I think Alan who lives very close to the club field, takes his dog there for a run first thing in the morning, I cant think of any other reason to be there in this weather.
