Reminder – No taxiing behind the pilots box please.

Fingers crossed you’ve already had some flying at the field recently. I won’t comment on the bright thing in the sky, for fear of reprisals.

I received a query yesterday, so thought it opportune to send a polite reminder to all members that taxiing behind the pilots box is not allowed.

There’s several reasons for this:

1. It’s additional noise when pilots may be trying to communicate.
2. Pilots often have a bit of a ‘wander’ while flying, and may trample on a plane.
3. A model brushing against a pilot would be extremely off putting.

In addition, no model should be taxied in the main pitts area, inside the small barriers.
