On the Thursday morning of the 18th of January after the high winds that we had over night Alan went to the field and discovered that on the lane between the two gates a tree had fallen across the roadway.

Alan returned in the afternoon, cut it down and dragged the trunk to an unused corner of the car park for later disposal.

Alan did all of this without being asked and without any help.
