The weather was dry by the time I got to the field at 10 am and stayed that way whilst I was there. Everyone seemed to be enjoying it and a lot of items changed hands. J Perkins Distribution were there selling off old sample/demo items including chargers, Multiplex kits, Seagull kits and at one stage of the morning looked like they were surrounded by locusts.
Jackie appeared to be doing a brisk trade from Poppy the vintage caravan too.
All in all a rather successful day.
Alan Banks was there at the crack of Dawn cutting the grass on runways in preparation for the scale flying on the Sunday, he had done the outfield and carpark areas earlier in the week.
