June Club Night at the field on Tuesday 21st

A very well attended club night at the field with John Veasey as usual doing sterling service on the Bar-B-Q.

The car park was packed and the sky constantly full of models; all round a very sucessful and enjoyable evening.

New members Jim Holland and Doug Clark did their inductions and a prospective new member who had accepted the offer of membership but had previously been unable to get in for an interview was duly quizzed.

Earlier in the afternoon Alan Banks with the help of some committee members made a start on cutting back the grass which is invading the lane, but its a mammoth task and only the worst bits were tackled for now.

PS a few weeks ago Dave Fincham rescued 2 lipo’s and a screw driver which were left at the field (On or around 26th May), an email was circulated but they have not been claimed, if they are yours contact Dave or one of the committee
