Message from Peter Bennett secretary of North Kent Nomads MFC

I received the following email from Peter of which I was asked to make members aware

Bill,
As one of our members had a nasty accident earlier in the year where he lost the top of one of his fingers and badly lacerated some other fingers on a propeller, we have arranged for St Johns to give us a talk on first aid particularly dealing with our hobby and thought if any of your members would like to attend they would be welcome it will be held at the Glentworth Ex-service Social Club 154 Lowfield St, Dartford DA1 1JB at 20:00 hrs on Thursday 9th March

Also, I have some sad news to tell you that Gerrard Goodhind passed away on the 20th Feb and thought you may like to notify any of your members that may be interested. I have copied the email that I have sent to our membership with details of the funeral below.

Gentlemen,
I have been informed by Gerrard’s family that his funeral will take place at Our Lady of the Angels, Bexley Road, Erith, Kent. DA8 1DN at 10:30 Thurs 23rd March. All are welcome to pay respects at his funeral. Following the service all friends and relatives are warmly invited to celebrate Gerrard’s life at the Angelus centre DA8 3HQ (walking distance from the church) where refreshments will be available. The family have also requested that flowers are from family only, there will be a collection box at the church and any donations will be divided between Cancer Research UK and the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS).
If you intend to attend the Wake can you please inform me ASAP so I can inform the family for catering numbers, thank you.
