Sad news on Malcolm Wood.

Doug Galpin has contacted me today with the sad news of the passing of long-time member Malcolm Wood who served the club as secretary for a large proportion of the noughties. Malcolm was a Aeromodeller for most of his life, enjoyed powered flight and was a keen flyer of slope soarers. Malcolm sadly decided to give up his membership of Bickley a few years ago when his eyesight started to deteriorate. Malcolm was very helpful to me when I took over from him as secretary and like me I’m sure a lot of the older members will have fond memories of him.

Malcolm’s funeral will take place on August 21^stat 11 am at Bluebell Cemetery 

Old London Rd, Halstead, Sevenoaks TN14 7AE.
