Jet Flying message from Bob Ryan

I was at the field yesterday and noted that all the crops around the field have now been harvested. They were spaying the stubble which usually means it wont be long before it is ploughed in. Regards, Bob Ryan

Sam forwarded this photo from the field yesterday morning. The farmer has started harvesting the adjacent fields which will be good news for jet fliers….up to point, because they still have to wait until the harvested fields are ploughed in, which hopefully wont be too long.

Club Night at the Field on Tuesday 11th July

As rain is forecast for the evening next Tuesday it has been decided to put the club meeting back a week, so its now on Tuesday 18th. Barbecue will start around 7pm. If you know a fellow member who does not do email or computers please let them know.
Turbine Jet Flying

John Veasey has reported that the crops surrounding the flying field are now browned off and flammable so we have to suspend use of jet Turbines until further notice (When the field have been harvested and the stubble has been ploughed in).
